Since September 1978, Dave Roden has played a significant role in the captivating narrative of the Brend Collection, spanning nearly 45 years. Initially aspiring to work in carpentry Dave's life took a fortuitous turn when a friend suggested he consider a position involving stocks in the local hotels. Little did he know that this suggestion would shape his career for the next 44 years, and he has never once regretted his decision.

In 1982, Dave's dedication and capabilities led to a well-deserved promotion to Operational Accounts Manager. This new role bestowed upon him the responsibility of overseeing stock-taking and control across all 11 hotels, managing the procurement and preparation of food and beverage accounts, and providing monthly reports to the Directors. Dave excelled in his duties, cementing his integral position within the organisation.
