At Brend Collection, our greatest successes come from within, from the people who grow with us and shape our future. One such success is Fran Du Cros, whose inspiring journey reflects our core values of teamwork, dedication to excellence and passion for hospitality.
Fran joined us in 2021, straight after sixth form, looking for a role that would challenge her and help her grow. Starting as a receptionist at The Park Hotel, she quickly gained skills in administration, IT, guest service, and more. With a strong desire to learn, Fran also completed a Business Administration course through our partnership with HIT training, deepening her understanding of the hospitality industry.
Her curiosity and flexibility saw her supporting various departments, from housekeeping to the bar as well as covering shifts at sister hotels. Building a comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations. It was during this time that Fran discovered her passion for events, helping manage busy Christmas functions and assisting managers whenever possible.
From Growth to Greatness
In early 2025, Fran was promoted to Events Manager in training, a well-earned step forward. Now planning and delivering functions with professionalism and energy, she’s focused on helping Brend Collection continue to grow its reputation for quality and excellence at The Park Hotel. As Fran continues her training and steps into her leadership role, we are confident she will continue to bring excellence, creativity, and heart to everything she does.
Fran’s willingness to take on new challenges and support wherever needed has made her a vital part of our team. Her advice to new team members? “Be open to learning across departments, it’s the best way to grow and discover what you’re truly passionate about.”
