Growing With Brend Collection

It’s been over a decade since Amy joined Brend Collection, and she has seen it all whilst growing and learning along the way.

Amy first joined The Barnstaple Hotel as a Receptionist in 2008, and it wasn’t long until she was promoted to Head Receptionist in 2010.

By 2013, Amy had taken on the role of Office and Events Manager, where she discovered an enthusiasm for planning and delivering exceptional guest experiences. In 2015, while on maternity leave, Amy stepped into a new challenge - supporting Sales and Marketing across our three-star hotels. 

Amy joined Head Office in 2017 and played a key role in establishing a Sales and Marketing Department. It was during this time that Amy’s love for spreadsheets, data, and all things analytical really came to light. Amy began to dive deeper into the numbers side of the business, and in 2018 completed a Revenue Management course, sharpening her expertise even further.

Amy Success Story

In 2021, Amy temporarily covered the Groups Department, but it quickly became clear that she was the perfect person to lead it permanently. Since then, she’s been the Group Sales and Revenue Manager, overseeing operations, setting up streamlined procedures, and ensuring the smooth running of group bookings across Brend Collection.

Amy thrives on building relationships and expanding our customer base. You’ll often find her out and about, representing Brend Collection at trade shows and events, meeting new clients, and sharing the passion that drives our brand forward.

From her first day at reception to managing the sales and revenue, Amy’s career is a testament to hard work and continuous growth. We’re proud to have her as part of our Brend family.
